Dito was my attempt to build a factoring marketplace that aimed to accelerate SMB's collection cycle. Interfactura the company where I was working at the time issued around ~80% of Mexico’s digital invoices.
Our plan was to leverage such invoicing data to detect SMB’s to which we could provide factoring. We planned Dito, as an accounting tool with which entrepreneurs could handle their company’s in less than 30 minutes a week in order to capture the supply-side of the marketplace.
The project was halted internally because it was built with open-sourced tech 🤣 😠 😔.
